Star Stuff

Hello friends,
Been wanting to connect, but no writing is coming through....Decided to connect by sharing something that I just love, in case you haven't seen it yet. (Bit of a science geek, here :-))

Enjoy!

Hi S,
Glad you liked it! I agree, it stirs the heart...you just gave me an idea, to do an "autotune" of some of the blog writings here - (too bad I have no idea how to do it, but I bet it would be fun! ;-))

They did a great job. Thanks for visiting.

Love,
Mary

Hi Siobhan,
Yes, I really hear you, and I agree! It is often quite difficult to put into words what is wanting to be expressed...

Well, thanks to the creativity of the people at symphonyofscience.com !

Love,
Mary

I've been here before, but for whatever reason your words pulled me in again. Nothing particular about this video, actually, but the rest of your posts. I just spent a great deal of my work morning reading your posts. Theres a texture to them. Sounds silly, but it's what I got, OK?

It's gentle here. Thank you for all the sharing.

Yes. She comes across as a very unassuming, approachable, gentle, non-judgemental expression of the One. Seems like there is real harmony there. Warmth, openness, kindness. Generosity of spirit. Peace and love in action. A beautiful, harmonious expression of a human being.

Nobody puts it better than Mary herself does, so if I may dare to quote her lovely words on her own blog,(sorry about this 'cheek', Mary!) :

'Imagine a wide-open heart space
totally accepting, greeting,
meeting whatever arises
with love, compassion,
grace.'

And again:

'What we are is absolute peace,
absolute love, and
absolute fulfillment.'

That is just gorgeously put, Mary. And amongst all the output I've come across on the web to me your words ARE outstandingly beautiful and in harmony with the person you appear as. (BTW Hope you didn't take the earlier comment about words personally, it was meant generally!)

There also appears to be a very refreshing, reassuring absence of 'self' stuff.

Reading your blog seems very calming, very soothing. Reassuring.

What a beautiful, serene human being.

Hi Mike, I'm glad that you were led here, and that something resonates...your comment doesn't sound silly at all, I felt it! Thank you for taking the time to connect..

Siobhan,
Oh my. What kindness and lovely words coming my way - thank you so much. (I think) I know exactly what you meant about the words, I didn't take it personally at all. I am really touched by your comment, and all I can say is, "It takes One to know One !

;-))

Mary

Hi Siobhan,
Thank you for sharing! I definitely resonate with what you wrote...lately I've been quite weepy and easily moved and vulnerable, etc....but this IS how LOVE moves! It's perfect.

The responses you shared are absolutely what is necessary right when they arise - it can't be any other way, can it? I wouldn't worry about seeing that there is no "other." If you see "others" in need and are moved to help, what could possibly be wrong with that?

It's all so wonderfully what IS...and you cannot "do" it wrong :-)) Feelings of "otherness" are not a problem, you already know (well, it's known) that "they" are just YOU, so who cares about a feeling? They come and go like every other appearance.

The rock-solid truth is that you ARE, and that trumps every, every, every, every thing, seen or unseen...All is truly well.

Here. Now.

Lots of love,
Mary

Hi Siobhan,
Yes, I really "hear" you (read you!). There appears this conditioning that wants "perfect" to mean without pain, sadness, etc. Also an idea that "life" will be easier when it is known that there is no one and that it's all "just happening."

But the mystery doesn't work the way a "mind" expects it to...what is, is perfect in the sense that it can be no other way....now. "Perfect" is not a judgement about good or bad. And while it is true that there is nothing really happening, and certainly no one "doing" anything, the play goes on and it is allowed to be, even delighted in, even in the midst of images of tragedy or pain or sad feelings. They are not resisted somehow, and there simply is a knowingness that what is seen is not what it appears to be, and not independent of what I AM. And that doesn't mean that no action happens to change the situation.

A broken heart can be as sweet as a caress...

Thinking cannot understand this. What we are has no need to reconcile the paradoxes, to make sense, or to be perfect or imperfect. How could there be a preference for something "else," when even the thought "something else" is what I AM?

Thanks for sharing your insights!

Love,
Mary

Thanks. You really are lovely, you know. I'm emailing - posting comments on the web when there still seems to be some lingering confusion is not that wise, I have noticed! :) I prefer the quiet, simple, peaceful life, so am going into hiding! It's fine when the understanding is deep, stable, as it seems with you, and indeed many others. But for some it's probably best to keep a very low profile. I'm one of them. x

Words are our friends too I am sure. You start writing Mary and everything in you gets connected up. Whenever I llok at anything I have written I think "how did I write that, or who wrote that?"

Look forward to what is said through you Mary. Nothing clever, but a unique expression always. It's just communication and it's not ours.Of course when you want to stop you just stop with your lovely pointint, always pointing.xx

Hi Julian,
Thanks for your encouragement, I'm glad that you are here. I certainly have no intention of stopping, but as you know, I'm not running the show! ;-)

Love,
Mary
P.S. I love the part about "nothing clever" :-))

PS* Thanks for the video Mary. It's a really weird thing, in the context of our well rehearsed stories, to contemplate our real nature and origins and what we continue to be - bits of stars in temporary human shape. But it is wonderful to realise that everything is connected in this way - that we are simply reflections of the One reality, mirrored in space at every moment in every place - wow! The old stories and myths just don't do it justice. After watching this I can almost feel the cosmos swirling around in me - every movement, emotion, good thought/action, bad thought/action, a cosmic expression of the ONE - THIS...and THIS.... and THIS. It's hard to feel self-hatred in such a context....but when it arises, even then, you know what is actually arising is a deeply complex, wonderful, cosmic expression of the ONE - Like a star falling or a frog croaking.
