There are no answers.
There are no answers here,
and this is very
good news..

Be open, unknowing
like a child,
Know nothing, nothing..
just be

Watch the unfolding of this Mystery
with naked eyes,
Don't even try to decipher the illogical,
THIS is not logical!

It is complete not-knowingness..

without fear..

Love twisting around to see Itself,
to taste Itself,
to play and enjoy

Don't ask questions: be still, wait, watch,

The whispers are always here,
Silence speaks in no-sound,
and in noise..

Not-knowing anything,

There exists no-thing more captivating,
more interesting,
more irresistible

than YOU.

THIS is It!
Here, as you are,
right now

B-a-n-g !

The end of searching,
the beginning
of what always IS..

No answer, no knowledge
can even come close.
Come to This
without hope,
without expectation,
with nothing,
naked, bare.

Die to unknowingness, then
have a good laugh..

Die to unknowingness, and

be lived.

Wonderful stuff Mary.

Utterly mysterious... illogical... ungraspable... and BANG

...so plain. :)

I have just been listening to a lecture by Bishop Spong(a brilliant speaker), which gave me a real guilt feeling about global warming.... among other things. It's so difficult isn't it, to remain in this childlike openess towards reality when there seems so much we should be doing or pleading guilty to in the world. Yet some wonderful things seem to happen when you just stay open. You've got it right. The big bang theory is that life comes to us, not the other way round!

You seem like a happy child in this writing. It's really fresh and disarming. So many ripples of pleasue in everything you say.

Hi Julian,
Thanks so much for commenting. I really do relate to the global warming issue. In fact, I was just reading something about coal ash pollution that sent shivers down my spine! And yet, no stress, only joy....the earth is such a beautiful, powerful appearance, yes? In the Mystery this idea appears: "we" have the power to control Life...how strange!? How interesting!

This is full-on. I love how the earth is changing, people are changing, trying to protect her...or not doing such a good job. I love the ignorance and the discoveries which seem scary...I love it all, because this is LIFE and somehow it's beautiful and innocent and just -

everything! And even though it's really nothing, full-on engagement happens (or not)! Peace can be passionate ;-))

So glad you connected.

This is good advice, Mary. And I love how the passion comes through in your writing - the passion for this nothingness that is breathing us. I pray to always be reminded of that which can not be forgotten - that which your writing reminds me of. Thank you!

Hi Rob,

Dear Mary,

I thought you might appreciate this poem that I read this morning:

The sun, of whose terrain we creatures are,
Is the director of all human love,
Unit of time, and circle round the earth,

And we are the commotion born of love
And slanted rays of that illustrious star,
Peregrine of the crowded fields of birth,

The crowded lane, the market and the tower.
Like sight in pictures, real at remove,
Such is our motion on dimensional earth,

Down by the river, where the ragged are,
Continuous the cries and noise of birth,
While to the muddy edge dark fishes move,

And over all, like death, or sloping hill,
Is nature, which is larger and more still.

Charles Madge.

Best wishes,

I thought you might like to read another poem, from ee cummings:

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)

how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any--lifted from the no
of allnothing--human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?

(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

Ahhhh, so joyful! I can feel the sunshine.. Thank you, Julian.

Yes, as we read our map instructions to life, we do so only by the light of the sun.

Sorry, I always just write what pops into my head.

Love Julian

I have been reading some of your back edititorials, as I often do, and they are absalutely fantastic. today I read 2/10/09. A really beautiful offering and such a gift.

Again, looking at previous things you have written: The search for enlightenment arises in enlightenment..
The search for liberation appears in Liberation..
The desire for love arises in Love..
The seeking for peace happens in Peace..
What transformation; what love! The world transfigured in the sight of nobody.

Please excuse my enthusiasm.

Dear Julian,
I am delighted with your enthusiasm - so glad that what is written is resonating with you! It's always nice to hear. Thank you for sharing and participating ;-))

Does the earth need help? This planet has been devasted (schientific jargon) several times over the billions of years. An ice freeze that covered the entire planted with 5 miles of ice for millions of years; a meteor crash in the Yucatan peninsula that left a hole 100 miles in diameter; that wiped out 95% of known species then. The big losers were the dianasours what had been roaming for 250 million years. LIFE started over again and POP!---here is mankind. If mankind doesn't make it LIFE will work with frogs or beatles and breath the "breath of life" into new 'children'. It's all happening now. No remorse or fear of extinsion: just more concepts for the mind to 'chaw' on. It's part of the story that apparantly Being Awareness relishes these dramatic twists. It's all so pleasing. As an aside, I've been to locations that haven't changed in 10 thousand years. I have pottery and figurines 6 thousand years old. I have photos of footsteps in a stream 8 thousand years olf. I've put my hands in these foot prints of someone who happened to be crossing the stream and left footprints like a postcard from the past---"Kilroy was here!"

I love you all!!

Wow! What an interesting comment - what passion! Yes, it's all grand and wild and mysterious...and nothing at all...leaving the mind utterly blown..

Thank you for sharing RB!
