Let's Call It Love

There is nothing happening
Only Being,
Which is Love,
Loving

There is nothing else
Just This
Nothing appearing as
Everything,
Which is only Nothing again..

No way around,
Inside,
Or out..
Whatever is
Is,
Is,
What I am

And not even that,
And not even now..
No-thing
Be-ing

Let's call it Love

Q: Then, regarding ourselves as some THING is the hindrance?

A: That alone is "bondage."

Q: And the remedy?

A: To cease regarding the universe as an object (since it is I), objects as entities (since there are none), "yourself" and "others" as such (for neither ever was)! To look in the right direction, look up and in, where there is no longer any direction at all -- where no longer is there any THING to be measured from any WHERE (nor any looking). Who then is there to be bound, to what then could there by any binding?

Q: So that is Liberation?

A: Liberation for WHOM? From WHAT? There has never been either.

Q:And then you see that...?

A: "It is as it is. That is all you can say," and they are Maharshi's words.

Q: Which means that there is no entity or object at all as such, not even ourselves, not even "I"?

A: Not even "Not-I"! How could there be? Think, man, think! Does not thought unite with intuition in this ultimate insight? How ... could ... there ... be?

Q: Ha-ha-ha!

A:That is the answer, the answer which dualistic language cannot give, which can only be apperceived noumenally, that is by intuitive apprehension. Heartily I agree -- Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Q: But is laughter the correct reaction to this understanding?

A: Many have laughed, some have cried, a few have prayed. Bodhidarma told the Emperor that there was no doctrine and nothing holy about it, but the Emperor was to earnest a man even to understand.

Q: And that is all it is?

A: One monk is reported as having said that, too. The phenomenal reaction is correct as laughter, but the final noumenal living of it is usually described as Bliss, and it expresses itself as Universal Benediction.

Good day Mary!

Springtime.....walking through this garden of being, enjoying each post as a new blossom, inhaling its' fragrance and insights....pausing to rest in this moment, listening to the distant sounds of the laughing stream of your heart's song, feeling the Loving Presence of our Master Gardener, as He looks through our eyes at this perfection....

In love and joy,
Peter
